1. Who we are

LaunchLens is a privacy-first analytics product operated by UNIVERSAL GLOBAL SERVICES LTD (UGS). UGS is the controller for the account, billing, and support data described in this policy. For any privacy request, contact [email protected].

2. Data we process

• Account and project data: email address, project name, selected plan, and API key metadata. Secret API keys are stored hashed.
• Usage and analytics data: aggregated metrics for your project such as pageviews, event counts, referrers, and UTM parameters.
• Billing data: subscription and payment status. Card data is handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
• Support data: messages you send through the contact form or by email.
• Technical data: operational logs required to run and secure the service.

3. Cookieless visitor analytics

The LaunchLens snippet does not use cookies and does not perform device fingerprinting. It does not collect names, emails, or other personal identifiers from your visitors. We record anonymous, aggregated metrics only.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Performance of our contract with you: providing the service, billing, and support.
• Legitimate interests: service security, abuse prevention, product improvement, aggregate statistics.
• Legal obligations: accounting, tax, and record-keeping duties.
• Consent, where required, for example for optional product emails.

5. Cookies and local storage

The application uses strictly functional browser storage only. See the Cookie Policy for details.

6. Sharing and sub-processors

We share data only as needed to run the service: payment processing (Stripe), transactional email delivery, and cloud infrastructure hosting. Processors are bound by data processing agreements. See the DPA.

7. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal obligations. Analytics aggregates follow the retention setting of your plan.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

10. AI features

Weekly launch reports are generated from aggregated analytics data. The support chat is available on our website and answers from our public documentation. You are informed that you are interacting with an AI assistant before the first answer, in line with the EU AI Act transparency requirements. Please do not send sensitive personal data through the chat.

11. Security

We apply industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed API secrets, and least-privilege access controls.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes are announced on this page with a new date.
